Balancing Our Budget Survey - Astoria SD

Dear Astoria School District Community,

You are likely aware that we are facing challenging financial decisions due to an increase in PERS retirement costs, reduced enrollment, reduced federal funds, contract obligations, and increased special education costs. To address these challenges, we need to reduce expenditures by 1.5 million dollars for the 2025-26 school year. Your input is invaluable as we develop budget proposals for the school board.

We invite you to participate in our budget survey, which asks for your feedback on priorities. Thank you for your feedback and collaboration as we navigate these changes together. Your voice plays a critical role in shaping our future.
